A Day of Golf, Solidarity, and Empowerment as Women Unite to Raise Awareness and Support the Fight Against Breast Cancer
Trump International Golf Club Dubai recently held its much-anticipated annual Pink Ladies Breast Cancer Awareness Day, uniting 40 inspirational women for a memorable event dedicated to breast cancer awareness and community support. Against the lush backdrop of the club’s world-class course, participants engaged in a spirited Pairs Betterball competition, adding a fresh twist that made the day both competitive and meaningful.
The Pink Ladies Day is part of Trump International Golf Club Dubai’s broader commitment to raising awareness about breast cancer, honoring survivors, and underscoring the importance of early detection. By creating an event that blends enjoyment with purpose, the club fosters a supportive environment that reflects the strength and resilience of women in the face of adversity.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the fierce competition, culminating in a well-earned victory for Aoife Kelly and Charlotte Davis, who triumphed with an impressive score of 29 points. Jo Griffin skillfully secured the “nearest the pin in two shots” prize, while Aoife Kelly also claimed awards for both “nearest the pin” and “longest drive.”
Event coordination was flawlessly executed by Khay-Gie Aniciete, whose commitment ensured the event’s success. The day was further enriched by the support of notable sponsors, including Damac, Paramount Hotels Dubai, A&E, Emirates Golf Club, Dubai Creek Golf Club, MyStarfish Foundation, and Khind. Led by Gordana Popovic Vincic, the new instructor, these sessions cater to all skill levels, making golf accessible in a fun, supportive atmosphere. The recent Pink Ladies Day was just a taste of the camaraderie and passion that this program seeks to foster, encouraging more women to experience the sport in an empowering setting.
Open to both new and experienced golfers, the Ladies Group Lesson Program has already commenced, offering a unique chance for women to further immerse themselves in golf.
