Rado has unveiled a timepiece that goes beyond watchmaking to celebrate heritage, craftsmanship, and design excellence. The Rado DiaStar Original Oman Edition draws inspiration from the timeless architecture of Muscat, translating the Sultanate’s cultural identity into a refined expression of Swiss precision and contemporary luxury.
At first glance, the collection captures the essence of Oman’s architectural beauty—clean lines, geometric harmony, balanced proportions, and a quiet sense of grandeur. Much like Muscat’s skyline, the DiaStar Original Oman Edition balances tradition with modern sophistication.
Available in four models, the collection comes in silver and golden tones, offered in 30mm and 38mm sizes, catering to both understated elegance and bolder wrist presence. The dial itself is a standout feature, inspired by Oman’s warm sandstone palette and architectural textures. A subtle copper-to-gold gradient adds depth, while the detailing reflects the curves and craftsmanship of the Sultanate’s celebrated landmarks. Larger models feature applied indices, while smaller versions use crystals to mark the hours, offering two distinct interpretations of luxury.
Beyond aesthetics, the DiaStar Original Oman Edition delivers the performance Rado is known for. The 38mm models house the automatic Rado calibre R764, featuring an 80-hour power reserve and a day-date display, while the 30mm versions are powered by the Rado calibre R586, offering a date display and 48-hour power reserve.
The timepieces are framed by Rado’s signature Ceramos™ bezel, paired with polished stainless steel and a vertically facetted sapphire crystal for durability and brilliance. A special engraved “OMAN EDITION” case back reinforces its exclusivity, while the polished bracelet with EasyClip system ensures versatility and comfort.
