Redefining Luxury Space Travel with Groundbreaking Complex and Eco-Friendly Technology

EOS-X SPACE, a trailblazing European space exploration company of Spanish origin, is poised to achieve a major milestone in the burgeoning space tourism industry, a market currently valued at over $9 billion. Under the leadership of Founder and CEO Kemel Kharbachi, the company is set to commence space flights by the third quarter of 2025 in Abu Dhabi and Seville, Spain. Key developments include finalizing the Spaceship One manned capsules and conducting pivotal validation tests with military pilots in partnership with Spain’s esteemed National Institute for Aerospace Technology (INTA).
Abu Dhabi will serve as the site of EOS-X SPACE’s most ambitious global facility, situated in the UAE capital. This landmark complex will encompass the shuttle, a cutting-edge spaceport, and the largest hotel complex on Yas Island. Meanwhile, a third facility is under development in Tulum, Mexico, with operations slated to begin by 2026.

EOS-X SPACE: CAPSULES THAT REACH THE STRATOSPHERE
Founded in 2020, EOS-X SPACE distinguishes itself from traditional rocket-based space tourism, which typically costs passengers around $1 million and demands rigorous training. Instead, EOS-X SPACE employs eco-friendly helium balloons to elevate pressurized capsules—accommodating up to eight passengers, including a pilot—to the edge of the stratosphere at an altitude of 40,000 meters. This innovative approach offers a serene, five-hour journey showcasing awe-inspiring views of space, the Earth’s curvature, and the blue halo, contrasting sharply with Blue Origin’s brief 11-minute rocket flights.
The experience requires no extensive preparation and includes a curated, week-long program enriched by cultural, gastronomic, wellness, and regenerative medicine offerings. The price per passenger ranges from €150,000 to €200,000, depending on the package selected. This makes EOS-X SPACE’s stratosphere capsules a unique option in the luxury space travel segment.

INVESTMENT EXCEEDS $230 MILLION
The development of the Abu Dhabi and Seville facilities represents an investment of over $230 million in engineering and infrastructure. Currently, EOS-X SPACE is in the midst of a €115 million Series D funding round led by US-based FTI Capital Advisor.
EOS-X SPACE’s novel approach to space tourism is positioned for significant scalability, projecting a revenue growth of 220% over five years. Profitability is expected from the first year of operations, supported by robust market forecasts within the $9 billion space tourism market.
In 2025, the company projects combined revenues from Abu Dhabi and Seville to reach $353 million, with a gross profit margin of 19%. By 2029, EOS-X SPACE aims to achieve a turnover of $1.127 billion and a gross profit of $324 million, reflecting a year-on-year profit growth of 23.3%. Overall, profits are anticipated to increase by 220% between 2025 and 2029.

As Kemel Kharbachi notes, “The evolution of space tourism opens investment opportunities as vast as human curiosity. Much like the aviation industry’s trajectory, space travel will eventually become more accessible. For now, we’re delivering an ultra-luxury product tailored to a niche market of High Net Worth (HNW) individuals. Globally, there are around 20 million potential customers capable of spending between €150,000 and €200,000 for this unparalleled experience.”
